At Alteon's Flight Training Centre in Manchester, Heatworks has designed and installed a solution to keep the complex technical infrastructure just as cool under pressure as the pilots who are undergoing intensive simulator-based training.
Flight crew from the world’s leading airlines attend the centre to experience a variety of jets, including 757-200, 767-300, A320, A330, A340. Powering each simulator is cutting edge technology which makes the experience as close as possible to actually flying the aircraft itself with each simulator replicating a huge array of flight conditions to test and monitor the pilot’s response to every scenario.
Alteon, a Boeing Company, carefully protect their multi-million pound investment in simulator technology by making sure that all computers are kept at a constant temperature, 24 hours a day. Disruptions to simulator operations can have costly delays on time-critical pilot training schedules but with Heatworks providing a 24 hour response service, any temperature control issues can be dealt with immediately.
