Health, Safety and the Environment

The safety of our team members, our stakeholders and their working environment is our top priority.

An independent Health and Safety consultant reviews our H&S policy, working with our Directors to make recommendations and to update documentation as well as conducting site safety audits and imparting new legislation.

All contract managers are SMSTS qualified to ensure they have the health and safety knowledge to manage their projects. In addition, all Heatworks Group staff have valid CSCS cards.

Heatworks is SafeContractor and CHAS accredited, a reassurance of our Health and Safety procedures.

Heatworks recognises that is has a responsibility to the environment and that our key impacts are in the following areas:

• Energy Use Procurement
• Emissions to Air/ Water
• Transport
• Waste Generation
• Water Use

We also recognise that we must comply with the requirements of the environmental legislation and approved codes of practice as a minimum. We possess a strong commitment to continuous improvement for the direct and indirect environmental impact caused by our business activities..
